Welcome
Welcome to the IPSHA South Australian Branch website.
Welcome to the South Australian Branch of IPSHA. As you are visiting our website, I hope that you can find the necessary contacts which will further encourage you to reach out and find support from our members.
The South Australian Branch of IPSHA prides itself on being a network of colleagues who have a sense of responsibility for ensuring that the strength of our Branch is maintained through ongoing contact between individual Heads and through active participation in the activities of our Branch.
The South Australian Branch is part of a much larger picture which is an incorporated national body with international affiliations, namely the Independent Primary School Heads of Australia.
The South Australian Branch Executive is charged with ensuring the operations of the Branch continue in between our termly meetings. One Branch meeting a term is scheduled, and these meetings are held either in a school or perhaps at a place of interest to us all; members are encouraged to participate in these most important meetings.
There are times when Heads are unable to involve themselves, perhaps because they are on leave, and in these instances Acting Heads are encouraged to take their place, in the official business of the South Australian Branch of IPSHA.
Central to the ongoing success of the South Australian Branch is the work of our numerous Hub Groups, all of which are supported by a designated Head. These Hub Groups are formed, dependent upon need and it is hoped that these Hub Groups, with the support of the South Australian Branch of IPSHA, provide a range of activities for the staff of our member schools.
Attached you will find, a list of the South Australian Executive members, a SA Branch membership list, and a calendar of planned events.
In closing, please feel free to contact any members of the Executive in relation to any of the business of the Independent Primary School Heads of Australia; you can be assured that you will be well received.
Christopher Prance
President, IPSHA (South Australia)
